Kim Davis. American freedom?

For first I have to say that Kim does read Bible! She has only Gods position about homosexuality. People who say statements like : ¨she thinks that religious freedom works only in her favor¨ ¨She wants to force everyone else to live by her beliefs.¨ ¨She does not want them to be happy¨ ¨Bible does not say to act like she does¨ and many many more. I propose to open real Bible and read it. It says :
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Romans 1 :21-28

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1st Corinthians 6:9-11)

Whats going one with Kim Davis is again shows us that world is at its end and these are not my words. God left us many signs. We just have to open New Testament.

Im glad that the place where I grew up was clean from this problems. But adults worried about our future. As a teenagers we often had meetings where elderly talked with us about your future and who we want to be. For example we loved asking ¨can I be a politician, or in the gambling business, doctor that do abortions or at military factories¨ and stuff like that. And they explained us what is good what is not. The main thing I understood from this meetings that the best thing to do with your life is not get profession that will put your faith in risk. Unfortunately many people chose wrong job or come to God in adulthood.

United States of America has over 170 millions of christians and about 10 millions of gay. Do you hear the difference between these number? And now the 170 millions in danger because the 10 millions gays can put them in jail if they follow what they believe! Am I talking about USA? The country where people fight for freedom? Right now this country put the 170 million Americans in risk and the government doesn’t do anything?

I remember the time when people were escaping to USA only to have religious freedom ! And now what we have? Christians should hide what they believe and believe only when doors of church are closed? No! Remember in which God you trust !

Right now the list is short.. Kim Davis, Aaron and Melissa Klein, Jack Phillips, Joshua Feuerstein. But Im sure that it will grow.

I call all christians to unite together and fight against the infringement of their rights. I believe that in Americans still left that Christian fortitude which lacks many nations. Wake up and stand for your rights to believe and live by God’s word!

  1. Americans are just as free to live by their version of God’s word as before. The only rights that were infringed were the rights of the couples seeking to marry, and the rights of the deputy clerks (5 of 6) who wished to provide the licenses, per a legal court order. In this country, if you have a moral objection to doing your job, the honorable option is to resign. She refused to resign, defied a court order, and obstructed others in her office from complying. Your freedom to follow your religious beliefs does not extend to forcing others to follow those beliefs.

    1. Mike, if you read my note. It does not say that Kim Davis is completely right in her acting. Im talking about this situation. As a Christian she followed her believes. You can not force anyone to act against what he or she believe. Im not asking to “forcing others to follow my beliefs” im calling to stand for what we have right. To believe in God. To live Godly life.

      1. I’m sorry, Julia, if I was unclear. I wasn’t saying YOU were forcing people to believe as you do. I was saying Mrs. Davis IS, by denying same sex couples a legal right, and by forbidding deputy clerks who disagreed with her to issue the licenses per the court order.

      2. Mike, please read whole post. At first I confirm Mrs. Davis attitude towards gays with words from Holy Bible. Then I say that a Christian should not occupy place in society where his/her faith becomes in danger. Then I write about the difference between number of Christians and gays in USA. Im writing about the fact that such a large number of people are now under threat. I write names of people who already had problems due to refusal to participate in gay life. I call Americans to protect their right. Because if now Government puts in jail all who refuse to participate in gay life. All who dont want to deal with their faith and believe only at home or at church. That was the point of my note.

  2. I don’t think that Kim was right in what she did either. There is no reason for any Christian to have to file a law suit on anyone for any reason. That in itself is not biblical (turn the other cheek). If I were her. I would definitely make a statement about it but if my boss or employer would fail to see where I’m coming from then I’d be more than happy to quit- I personally don’t know the full story here. But I just don’t think that she make the right move as a Christian either. Christians don’t attack.

    1. Oksana, giving marriage licenses to gay couples would violate her believes that marriage should be between one man and one woman. As a boss if she let her workers do it she would participate in this act. She appeared to be in difficult situation. She has a job that she can do well but this new law dont let her do it fully. What would you do? Hide your beliefs and start doing as people want? Or remain faithful?

      1. Hi, I would like to say you are right, and what about the wedding cake maker who refused to make a wedding cake. I am not sure, but didn’t they get sued. Blessings.

      2. i agree with you 100%, but the wise thing to do would be to just quit your job. Its part of the job description, you agreed to any changes when you accepted the job. I dont blame her for being angry. but i just dont think that drawing so much attention to it was the right thing to do either. hope you see where im coming from

      3. Yes I believe so too and I’m surprised why she as a Christian didnt go in peaceful way. If work makes you go against God. Then choose God and He will send you another job..

  3. Yes we are in the “last days” I believe. But we can’t know how long they will last so we must always be prepared for Jesus’ coming. It may be today or many hundreds or thousands of years from now.

Kim is a great example of living her convictions and how the U.S. is falling away from Godliness more so all the time. But she is also an example of how to remain prepared in her convictions for the Lord’s coming.

    Good post!

  4. It is insane to think that judges in black robes can re-difined and institution that not only predates governments and religion but also is solidly founded on natural law. That is you don’t have to make a religious argument against same sex marriage to defend natural marriage. Having said that I really admire her stand and I wish more Christian have the courage to uphold their conscience and defend the faith!
