formula from fear and anxiety

I look around and I see reminders about Christs imminent coming. As a woman I’m afraid to think about my future, knowing that I live in time when Revelations are executed. Thousands of philosophers talk about how, where and when it will happen. Every day there is an event that makes my heart ache. War, terrorism, conflicts between countries. I open news, or social network and they are filled with tragedies. This makes many people to speak about His soon coming. Everyday they write new statements as they see performance of Revelations. All news, notes and statements I read or hear get mixed in my … Continue reading formula from fear and anxiety

My heart is broken.

My heart is broken. I can not read news without tears in my eyes. What happened in Paris last night is the worst horror movie I can imagine. I myself is sort of refugee in France. I came here seeking better life for my brother. And I can assure you that french people are one of the best people in the world! People give you a smile in the street with no reason. People are taught to be useful in society. Children do not understand the difference between skin color. They taught from childhood that all people are equal. For … Continue reading My heart is broken.

to be content.

Why do so many people absessed with being like rest of the world.  Well at least like people they know or the ones that succeeded in something. Why do people are so afraid of standing out? Look at me. My life is not similar to lives of most people my age. Im 26 . Unmarried and no kids. I don’t have house or car. I don’t even have a normal job. Helping disabled brother is not a dream job I guess. I don’t go on holidays or business trips. I can continue for quite a bit the list of what I dont … Continue reading to be content.

A post you won’t like

I know most of you will disagree with me on this post. Well sorry. “Drinking alcohol is not a sin if you don’t get drunk. I don’t drink more than 2 bottles of beer”. I heard this again. And again from a Christian. And again I disagree. This makes me thinking. Maybe I was trained wrongly. Maybe its normal to drink beer several times a week or sometimes drink strong alcoholic drinks. As a Christian that live by word of God. I went straight to Bible to find the answer. I kept digging in Bible to find answers. So this is … Continue reading A post you won’t like

We have same God?

Are we believing in same God? Eventually I realized that with some Christians we have different imagination of God. We used to think that God is good. God loves us all. Many christian speakers shout about Gods love. God is so kind He is like a grandfather that is smiling and sitting on a cloud. Another popular saying is that God is your friend. He is everywhere with you. Well for me its hard to imagine God walking with half-naked women or sitting in a bar with cigarette and beer. When I read the book Revelation I also can not … Continue reading We have same God?

my very limited Christian liberty

I need limits! I came to this decision after looking at my life. Now Im realising this more and more. After we moved to another country where I don’t know anyone at first I felt like ¨yay I can do whatever I want¨. I have no church and nobody will judge me. But after while I understand that I continued to live by the rules of which I lived in my home country. Because these rules are based on Gods words. God gave me liberty but as human being I need limits. Bible says :  ye have been called unto liberty; … Continue reading my very limited Christian liberty

I love French hello-kisses

When we moved to France first thing that was kind of unusual and little bit weird for me is to kiss everyone you meet each day. To kiss each cheeks when you greet someone is a greeting tradition. Even when two big group of people meet everyone kisses each other. The kiss is usually without lips you only touch cheeks and kiss goes in air.  At first it was little weird when men get so close to my face and touch my cheeks. But now I absolutely love this tradition! It’s hardly impossible to do it without smile. And after you greet … Continue reading I love French hello-kisses

Kim Davis. American freedom?

For first I have to say that Kim does read Bible! She has only Gods position about homosexuality. People who say statements like : ¨she thinks that religious freedom works only in her favor¨ ¨She wants to force everyone else to live by her beliefs.¨ ¨She does not want them to be happy¨ ¨Bible does not say to act like she does¨ and many many more. I propose to open real Bible and read it. It says : Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and … Continue reading Kim Davis. American freedom?

Marriage of convenience by Martin Luther

Martin Luther known as great German reformer. Luther’s translation of the Bible has played an important role in forming national German language. He was a supporter of moderate burgher Reformation. According to his views, the source of religious truth is not “sacred tradition” but the Gospel itself. These requirements put conflict between early bourgeois ideology with the ideology of the feudal and church. Luther opposed the doctrines expressing the material interests of the German burghers, criticized the theory of natural law, the idea of early bourgeois humanism, principles of free trade. But nobody knows that behind half of his life stands a … Continue reading Marriage of convenience by Martin Luther
